Mark's 12 Week Transformation

 

Meet Mark, a post COVID graduate of The Amazing 12 Week Physique Program.

Like Amanda, who I posted about yesterday, Mark GRADUATED because this program requires focus and exceptional results do not just happen.

Mark achieved phenomenal results with a 4 month break in the program.

Mark came to us to make a transformation, he was very clear from the start. He was looking to up his game and he hadn’t seen progress with other trainers. He needed more structure.
Mark also came with a significant injury to his shoulder. The reality of its effects didn’t really emerge until technique week on the program. Mark struggled to get a 10 rep max of 30kg on his bench. His left shoulder would just fail under fatigue.
This was a significant drop in strength for Mark and a frustrating situation, but the program takes into account everyone’s starting point.
So we started where he currently was, we didn’t pretend the shoulder weakness wasn’t there.
That begs the question, where did we end up?
Let's start with the fact that Mark lost a stone and put on slabs of lean muscle. Mark looks and feels 10 years younger naturally across the board his physical scores skyrocketed!
>>His previous Bench Press 10 rep max (10RM) was 30kg, by the end of the program we were repping out 55kg for over a hundred EASY reps!
>>Deadlift 5RM of 105kg became 36 easy reps!
>>Chin-Ups went from 0 to multiple sets of under fatigue at the end of sessions
>> Marks overhead press 10RM of 30kg paled in comparison to his training sets at the end of the program! Working with 45kg for 15 mins straight, doing over 100 reps!
>> Mark had very poor levels of conditioning BUT by the end of the program he was doing over 20 mins of muscular cardio non-stop under fatigue (think burpees, mountain climbers, ball slams - you know the fun stuff!)
>> His running distance covered in 20 mins went from 2.6km max, to a comfortable regular jog of 3.4km
Who says you can’t be a machine over 50!
Mark in his own words:
“It was the right time.. I could commit to 12 weeks, no problem. I saw the before and after photos and they looked great, I was interested to see how far I could go in 12 weeks. I had to overcome my injury to my shoulder. It’s improved impressively.
I discovered that my body has a great deal of potential, even at my age, my early 50s. It’s the best shape I’ve been in, possibly ever. I’m going to continue, forever.
